Dolly Parton has passed away at the incredible age of 80.
Anyone who knows me knows just how much I absolutely adore Dolly. She wasn’t just someone whose music I loved — she was a massive idol of mine.

She came from very little and built something extraordinary, but somehow never seemed to lose who she was along the way.

Strong, funny, kind, unapologetically herself and always giving back to others. There was just something about her that I have always admired.

I genuinely thought Dolly would live forever. She was one of those people who just seemed like she would always be here.

This one has actually really got me. 😭💔

What an incredible woman. What an incredible life. And what a legacy she leaves behind.

The world has lost a little bit of its sparkle today. ✨💎

I’m genuinely considering standing in the middle of Glastonbury waving a mop around shouting…

“DOES ANYBODY ACTUALLY WANT A JOB?!” 🧽🤣

Don’t get me wrong — I have had people enquire, so this absolutely isn’t aimed at everyone who’s messaged me! 😂❤️

But I keep seeing so many posts from people saying they’re “looking for work and can’t find anything” and I’m sat here thinking…

Are you looking with your eyes closed?! 👀🤣

Because I have actual paid hours available, more work coming in, and I’m actively trying to grow the Scrub Squad.

I genuinely thought getting enough clients and finding the work would be the hardest part of growing a cleaning business.

Apparently not. 😂

So if you see me stood in Glastonbury High Street waving a mop and bucket around like an absolute lunatic shouting “DOES ANYBODY WANT A JOB?!”…

No you didn’t.

Recruitment is going GREAT. 🤣🧽

Tuesday morning ☕🖤

So far this morning…

☕ Coffee consumed
🍪 Approximately 8 biscuits eaten — breakfast of champions, obviously
📧 Emails sent
📅 Bits organised
🧽 Scrub Squad are out and about
🎟️ Some Golden Ticket bits done too… all will be revealed 👀✨

And somehow, despite the fact I would quite happily crawl straight back into bed, it’s actually been a pretty productive morning 😂

Had a couple of REALLY good conversations yesterday with some potential new Scrub Squad members too, so watch this space… 👀

Not entirely sure how I’m functioning today, but we move 😂

Well… I woke up this morning feeling a little bit more grateful than usual ❤️

If you haven't seen the news over the last few days, my sister lives over in Spain, near Granada, and while everyone else has been seeing the news reports, we've basically been getting the live updates through our family group chat.

Earthquakes, tremors, aftershocks… "there's been another one"… "we've just felt that one"… and honestly, being in a completely different country while someone you've grown up with your entire life is experiencing that is fucking scary.

The main earthquake hit in the early hours of Saturday morning at around magnitude 5, followed by a LOT of smaller earthquakes and aftershocks throughout the weekend. My sister told us they'd had over 100 tremors.

The photos I've attached were sent to us by my sister and show some of the damage around her boyfriends village.

And at the same time, back here in the UK we've been watching wildfires ripping through parts of the country after all this dry weather and heat.

Then I woke up this morning.

And it's raining. 🌧️

Hopefully giving the land, wildlife and everyone who's been battling those fires some much-needed relief.

Things around Granada appear to be settling, with the aftershocks getting smaller. 🇪🇸🤞

My sister is safe. ❤️

My family are safe.

And I've woken up this morning.

It's funny how quickly all the normal Monday morning bullshit becomes completely insignificant when you stop and think about it.

There will be people waking up today dealing with damaged homes, lost belongings and the aftermath of things completely outside of their control.

So today I'm just feeling bloody grateful.

Grateful for the rain.
Grateful that things seem a little calmer.
Grateful for the people I love.
And grateful for another day.

Sending so much love to everyone affected in Spain, and to everyone here in the UK affected by the fires. ❤️

We’re looking for someone who:

🧽 Actually enjoys cleaning (helpful 😂)
⏰ Understands that “I’ll be there at 9” means 9, not 9:37
👀 Can spot a cobweb without needing a formal introduction to it
💪 Isn’t scared of a bit of hard graft
😂 Can handle working with a slightly chaotic boss
🖤 Wants to become part of our little Scrub Squad as we continue growing

The boring-but-important bits:

✨ Around 12+ hours initially
✨ Monday–Friday
✨ Start times vary
✨ Usually finished before 3pm
✨ Working across our usual Somerset areas
🚗 Driver with your own transport strongly preferred

Experience is lovely, but reliability, attention to detail and actually giving a shit are far more important to me.
